I, randomly for a reason even unknown to me, was reading a couple of my mom's posts (http://greenjelloland.blogspot.com/) about me and my sisters Kay and Vi. As I read some about me, I just laughed. At times I was just making people laugh at me and my 12 or so answers and questions. But most of the time, people keep saying how mature I was for my age. Here's me at 13 being asked "What's So Great About Being a Grown Up?":
Lu thought for a minute, and then surprised me with her answer. She said, "I think the best part of being an adult is so you can prove to yourself that you can be independent and make it on your own. You can make your own choices for your life, and not have to depend on your parents. And just show that you CAN do it yourself."
I am even surprised at my answer. I mean, I always knew I was thinking that, yet it still surprises me.
I understand why people call me really mature for my age but it's not that hard. I just THINK. Nothing more, nothing less. I think before I act and I think before I say anything. It's not much, but it makes people look at me weird for my thought-through answer and my disinterest in falling in ‘love’ (YOU CAN’T FEEL LOVE YET!!) for some random guy at 14.
